Urquiola’s Mantis

Introduced in Milan in 2008, Mantis contrasts refined detail of the folds of the metal base and the gently tapered edges of the tabletop with the overriding industrial theme. The large central column provides the bulk of the support so the legs provide a sense of lightness to the design. The oak top with the rust finished base really drives the industrial feel home. @ SUITE New York.
