Sleep-Over at (or near) Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water
Ok, you can’t really sleep in the architectural icon, but you and seven of your best friends can have it to yourself for a night. The actual accomodations are a smaller home near Bear Run Nature Reserve.
You are allowed to walk to Fallingwater and explore the house on your own, join in a guided discussion about the house and its site, have dinner with curator Lynda Waggoner either on the terrace or in the living room and generally have art and architecture type discussions with unnamed special guests. After all, Fallingwater was designed as a vacation home, not a museum.
This architectural sleep-over starts at $1195 per person, double occupancy. Details at www.FallingWater.org.
