Oyster Chair by Pierre Paulin for Artifort at Mixture.

This chair was one of the first designs in the Classic Collection and was the elegant "easy chair" of the sixties. The chromed metal base is so minimal, that the wooden seating shell seems to float. The Oyster was in the Artifort collection until 1979 and was brought back by popular demand in 1999. Base comes in chrome and powder coated white (other colors available). Footstool available.
