Griffin Planter by Reza Feiz for Phase Design

For the modern day modernist, this multi-purpose indoor/outdoor piece is an architectural take on the traditional planter. These lightweight yet durable planters are individually handcrafted and have a hand sanded fiberglass shell that is completed with an automotive polyurethane paint with a clear coat finish. The finish is then colorwet sanded to achieve its deep and glossy shell. This type of finish is usually reserved for the aircraft and automotive industries. The griffin can also be stacked creating a modular sculpture.
