Tom Dixon's Fresh Fat Easy Chair is made from extruded and hand woven clear plastic. THe material glistens like glass but is much less fragile. Hot, fresh, fat polymer is pumped from a machine and is woven, by human hand into primitive shapes. Each piece is unique. This challenges the notion of plastic as a throwaway and brings new respect for it as a design material.
